Good news for anyone looking for a young apprentice position! Correios extended the validity of the selection process for hiring 4.382 young apprentices for another year. This means that if you were approved, you still have a chance of being called.
With the extension of the Correios selection process, the recruitment of approved students will be done gradually, according to the company's needs. In total, there are 4.382 places available, in addition to the reserve registration. Important: the extension does not reopen the registration deadline, so if you have already applied and been approved, stay tuned!
The Correios selection process, opened in July 2023, offered 4.382 vacancies for young people aged 14 to 21, in addition to a reserve registration. It was a success, with 560 thousand subscribers from all over Brazil. Among these vacancies, 10% were reserved for candidates with disabilities and 20% for those who declared themselves black or mixed race.
How the Correios Young Apprentice Program works
Young postal apprentices work 20 hours a week, divided into four hours a day. These hours are distributed between theoretical activities, in a qualified entity, and practical activities, at the Post Office. Those selected receive a minimum hourly wage, transportation vouchers, meal or food vouchers and a uniform.
