The Postal Service Took An Important Step Towards The Long-Awaited Public Competition By Establishing An Organizing Committee Responsible For The Entire Process. According To Information Released By The State-Owned Company, This Committee Is Committed To The Positions And Vacancies, As Well As To The Hiring Of The Examining Board And The Timeline.

According To An Official Communication From The Company, The Formation Of The Organizing Committee Represents The First Phase To Finalize The Competition, Which Is Expected To Take Place Later This Year In 2024.

It Is Relevant To Highlight That The President Of The Postal Service, Fabiano Silva Dos Santos, In A Meeting With Representatives From The National Federation Of Workers In Postal, Telegraph And Similar Companies (Fentect), Ensured The Competition For This Year And Stated That He Wants To Bring Forward The Publication Of The Announcement To March.

He Emphasized The Need To Resolve Internal Issues Of The Autarchy Before Holding The Competition, Such As The Implementation Of A New Career, Positions And Salaries Plan (PCCS), Assessment Of The Districts’ Needs, And Improvements In The Health Plan For Employees.

When Will The Announcement Be Released?

According To The Schedule Established For The Postal Service Competition, The Expectation Is That The Announcement Will Be Published By October 22 Of This Year, With The Exams Taking Place On December 21.

The Idea Is That The Competition Will Include Vacancies For The Company’s Administration Area And Services Such As Delivery Personnel And Sorting Operators. The State-Owned Company Confirmed That It Is Already Studying The Announcement And Is In Talks With Institutes.

According To Figures From The Ministry Of Management And Innovation In Public Services (MGI), The Postal Service Has More Than 7,000 Vacant Positions, Highlighting The Urgency For A New Competition. The Last Competition For The Company Took Place In 2011, Organized By Cebraspe. At That Time, There Were Two Announcements Offering 9,190 Vacancies For Positions At The Medium And Higher Levels, With A Total Of 1,051,256 Candidates.
