CSN Mineração Will Debut On The Stock Exchange On The 17th Of This Month
CSN Mineração will debut on the stock exchange on February 17, when it will be listed on Level 2 of B3 with the ticker CMIN3.
Although the company has an interesting future, with strong demand for iron ore – currently the commodity is traded in China near the level of US$ 160 per ton – as well as other competitive advantages such as being a pioneer in the use of dry filtering technology (which avoids risks like dam breaches that have occurred with Vale in the past), the strategies outlined in the company’s prospectus did not fully convince the market.
According to Eduardo Guimaraes, equity specialist at Levante Investimentos, CSN Mineração is a good case, but there are better opportunities to gain exposure to the mining sector, including Vale, Bradespar, or even CSN itself.
