The Federal University of ABC (UFABC) is currently accepting applications for the Selection Process of the free specialization course in Innovation in Education Mediated by Technologies, regulated by Public Notice No. 41/2024.

This is an excellent opportunity for teachers and education professionals who wish to enhance their skills in the use of educational technologies. The free postgraduate course will be offered online (EAD) and provides 210 spots distributed among five in-person locations in the state of São Paulo.

Course Objectives and Structure

The main objective of the specialization at the Federal University of ABC (UFABC) is to train educators to design, implement, and evaluate the use of technologies in the educational context. The free online postgraduate course (EAD) covers topics such as computational thinking, accessible information technologies, and innovative methodologies for education.

With a total workload of 360 hours, students will have access to virtual classes, interactive activities, and support from professors and tutors, with occasional in-person meetings at support locations.

Slots, Locations, and Selection Criteria

The selection process offers 147 spots for general competition and 63 spots for affirmative action, distributed among the locations of Guarulhos, Jales, Jardim Guapira, Jardim Santa Lucrécia, and Cidade Antônio Estêvão de Carvalho.

The selection will be carried out in two stages: participation and approval in the selection course “Technology-Mediated Education” (EMT), followed by classification based on the performance obtained. The EMT has a workload of 15 hours and will take place entirely online.

Requirements and Applications

To participate in the free online postgraduate course (EAD) at the Federal University (UFABC), it is necessary to have a degree, possess basic computer skills, and have internet access.
