The Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU) is with open for subscriptions for the selection process of its Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics course, offered in the Distance Learning (EAD) modality. In total, there are 150 vacancies distributed among several centers, aimed at continuing education and professional qualification of future educators in the area of Mathematics. Registration began on November 1, 2024 and will run until November 18, 2024, offering an excellent opportunity for those seeking a degree from a renowned public institution.
The main objective of the UFU mathematics degree course is to train qualified professionals to work in basic education, with a workload of 3.590 hours, spread over four years. The course is taught in a distance learning format, with practical activities and in-person assessments, carried out at designated centers.
The program includes classes, forums, seminars and assessments in Virtual learning environment (AVA) Moodle, in addition to two face-to-face meetings per semester at the centers, where tests also take place that represent 60% of the semester grade.

Available vacancies and locations
The 150 places offered by the Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics EAD course are distributed between the centers of Araxá, Formiga, Lavras, Nova Serrana, Patos de Minas (MG), Vitória (ES) and Votuporanga (SP).
Each center has vacancies reserved for open competition and for quotas, intended for candidates who meet the social and economic requirements established in the notice.
Selection process and evaluation criteria
The selection process will be carried out in a single stage, consisting of an assessment of grades from the last year of high school in the subjects of Portuguese Language and Mathematics and a test of online writing, which will be applied on December 1, 2024.
Candidates who meet the quota criteria will have access to the reserved places according to the place reservation system. The essay test will be scored from 0 to 100, and candidates who do not achieve the minimum score will be disqualified.
Application requirements
To participate in the Federal University selection process, the candidate must have completed high school and meet all the requirements established in the notice.
It is also necessary to send a scanned copy of the academic transcript from the last year of high school, with the grades of the required subjects. The process requires a computer with internet access, to complete the online steps.
