The Factories of Culture registrations are open for the first half of 2025, offering more than 100 free courses in the ABC region of São Paulo. The opportunities include more than 3 vacancies in the cities of Diadema and São Bernardo do Campo.

Registrations began on January 7, 2025, allowing interested parties to participate in creative workshops, with biannual meetings held twice a week, or production trails, which last two to four months and take place once a week.

Free course options for all ages

Os courses are intended for audiences of different ages, from 6 years old in Diadema and 8 years old in São Bernardo do Campo. Classes take place between Tuesday and Saturday, in the morning, afternoon and evening, covering various areas such as arts and technology.

Highlights in Diadema

In Diadema, participants can learn screenwriting for movies, breaking, creating projects for public notices, creative electronics (maker), introduction to drones, manga-style drawing, and producing their own narratives. Among the new features, the tracks developed in partnership with PerifaCon stand out, which address pop culture themes and podcast creation.

Courses offered in São Bernardo do Campo

In São Bernardo do Campo, free courses include music (guitar, violin, viola, choral singing, percussion and music production), technology (game creation, robotics, audiovisual, computer science and drones), dance (street dance, ballroom dance, ballet and contemporary dance), as well as capoeira, visual arts, theater, circus and sign language. Maker and digital crafts training are also great attractions.

Start of classes and materials offered

Classes begin on February 4th and all classes have materials provided free of charge by Fábricas de Cultura. Interested parties can register up to 45 days after the start of activities or while there are vacancies available.

How to participate in the registration process

The process varies according to the unit. In Diadema, it is necessary to register in person, presenting an ID and proof of residence. In São Bernardo do Campo, the candidate must complete an online pre-registration form. (access here) until January 12th and, if selected, go to the unit to complete the registration with the ordinary documentation.
