Firjan SENAI announced the offer of 3,840 spots for free technical courses at the high school level throughout the state of Rio de Janeiro. The qualification opportunities cover various areas, such as Information Technology, Automation and Mechatronics, Electro-electronics, Automotive, Metalworking, Logistics, Management, Clothing, Oil and Gas, Graphic, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Print and Digital Media, and Occupational Safety.

Free Technical Courses to Meet the Demand for Qualification

According to Edson Melo, manager of Professional Education at Firjan SENAI, free technical courses are essential to meet the growing demand for qualified professionals in the market. He explains: “Firjan SENAI courses offer an excellent opportunity for those looking to enter or stand out in the job market.

With updated content, modern laboratories, and a qualified technical team, we contribute directly to the socioeconomic development of the regions in the state of Rio.”

Course Structure

The free qualification technical courses offered by Firjan SENAI are structured to maximize practical learning. About 80% of the course load will be conducted in person, while the remaining 20% will be dedicated to self-study. Classes will begin on February 17th. Interested individuals must meet the requirements of each course, such as minimum age, education, and prove a gross monthly family income per capita of up to 1.5 times the federal minimum wage.

Selection Process and Schedule

The selection process includes a written exam with questions in Portuguese and Mathematics, which will be held on February 1st, 2025. Candidates will be able to check the results at the Firjan SENAI unit where they took the exam.

São 40 vagas por curso e só pode se inscrever 120 pessoas para concorrer por essas vagas. Após esses 120, as inscrições se encerram. Então, quem for se inscrever, tem que se apressar. Quando eu fui fazer a minha, só havia 70 vagas para fazer a prova.
