After some consultations, the item was sold to the Romanian state, which then sent the piece to experts at the Museum of History in Krakow, Poland. There, its authenticity and the value of the amber were confirmed.
Currently, the amber is on display at the Buzau Provincial Museum, where it is considered a national treasure. Its presence in the museum highlights Romania’s rich geological history and the importance of looking closely at what may initially seem like just an ordinary object.
