The Cefet RJ Competition Is for Teachers of Basic, Technical, and Technological Education (EBTT)
Cefet RJ (Federal Center for Technological Education Celso Suckow da Fonseca) announced the opening of a new public competition with 81 vacancies for teachers of Basic, Technical, and Technological Education (EBTT). The competition announcement was published on June 6 and offers opportunities in different areas. The salaries for teachers can reach up to R$11 thousand, making it an excellent opportunity for those who wish to work in education and contribute to the training of new professionals.
Distribution of Competition Vacancies Across Cefet RJ Campuses

Requirements for the Competition and Remuneration of Teachers
To apply for the teaching competition, candidates must meet the requirements set forth in the announcement, such as a degree (licentiate) and master’s degree in the area, when requested. Additionally, Cefet RJ provides reserved vacancies for people with disabilities, blacks, and browns.
The basic salary for teachers in exclusive dedication is R$4,875.18. To the basic amounts, the following benefits may be added based on qualifications: R$975.04 for specialization, R$2,437.59 for a master’s degree, and R$5,606.46 for a doctorate.
Furthermore, the teachers approved in the competition will be entitled to a food allowance of R$658, transportation assistance, and pre-school assistance. Thus, a teacher with a doctorate will have an initial remuneration of R$11,139.64, considering the basic salary, the remuneration based on qualifications, and the food allowance.
Registrations and Stages of the Competition for Teachers at Cefet RJ
Registrations for the competition will be open from June 7 to 22, through the official Cefet RJ website. It is necessary to fill out the registration form and pay the fee of R$120.
Candidates registered in the Unified Registration (CadÚnico) and members of low-income families have the right to request an exemption from the registration fee for the competition. The specific form for the exemption must be completed between June 7 and 8, also through the Cefet RJ portal.
The Cefet RJ competition will consist of three stages: a written exam, a public teaching demonstration, and a document verification. The exams will be conducted in the municipality where the campus for which the candidate is applying is located. The program contents will be disclosed on June 7.
