Applications for the 2024 ITA Exam Must Be Made by July 16
The Aeronautics Institute of Technology (ITA) is open for applications for entry into the Brazilian Air Force in 2024. The exam is intended for candidates who have completed or are in their final year of high school and offers a total of 150 vacancies. Interested candidates must apply by July 16, 2023.
The Aeronautics Institute of Technology (ITA) is a renowned institution that offers excellent training in the fields of science and technology, with a focus on engineering. Candidates approved in the exam will undergo a five-year academic training course in engineering specialties, with the option to choose whether or not to pursue a military career.
ITA 2024 Vacancies and Graduation
The ITA exam is intended for candidates who have just completed high school or who will finish in 2023. The vacancies are divided between the Active Engineers Officers Corps (QOEng) and the Aeronautics Engineers Reserve Corps. Candidates can choose whether or not to pursue a military career, having the opportunity to acquire solid engineering training and contribute to the development of the aerospace industry.

In total, the institute opens 150 vacancies for 2024. Of these vacancies, 114 are for non-military career optants, meaning they are aimed at candidates who wish to enter the Aeronautics Engineers Reserve Corps. The other 36 vacancies are for the Active Engineers Officers Corps of the Brazilian Air Force, for those interested in pursuing a military career.
The ITA undergraduate course lasts for five years. In the first two years, students undergo the Fundamental Course, which covers basic engineering content. In the last three years, students focus on Professional Courses, which are specific to each engineering specialty. During the fourth semester of the Fundamental Course, students have the opportunity to choose and define the specialty they wish to pursue.
Requirements and Applications for the Exam
To enter ITA, candidates must meet some requirements, such as being a natural-born Brazilian, being single, having their military service situation regularized, having completed or being in their final year of high school by 2023, and being up to 25 years old at the time of course enrollment.
Applications for the ITA 2024 exam can be made until July 16, 2023, by filling out the form available on the INSTITUTE’S WEBSITE. A registration fee of R$ 195 must be paid. The selection process for ITA 2024 will consist of three stages: objective test, essay test, and health assessment. The exams will be held in various cities across the country. Good luck!
