The new announcement for the RJ Firefighter exam (Rio de Janeiro Fire Department) has just been published. There are 50 vacancies for Cadets in the 1st year of the Officer Training Course, waiting for you. The Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV) has been hired as the organizing body.

The vacancies are open to everyone, offering opportunities for broad competition, underprivileged individuals, blacks, and indigenous people. With a requirement of a high school diploma and a maximum age of 32 years, this is the time to take action and aim for an initial salary of R$ 4,227.16. Salaries Reach R$ 24 Thousand at the End of the Career

The new announcement for RJ firefighters for Officer vacancies will offer an initial salary of R$ 4,227.16. According to the corporation, the salary for the Officer position after the training course will be up to R$ 6 thousand (initial) and R$ 24 thousand at the end of the career.

Requirements, Exams, and Preparations:

Essential Requirements: To secure this position, you need to:

Have completed high school or equivalent;
Be at least 18 years old at the time of enrollment in the training course;
Be up to 32 years of age on the day the registration opens.

The objective exam, a significant challenge, will take place on April 21, from 1 PM to 6 PM. With 100 multiple-choice questions covering Languages, Mathematics, Human Sciences, and Natural Sciences, it’s a true journey of knowledge. Each question is a flame you need to extinguish to get closer to your goal. There will be 30 questions on Languages and Codes, 20 on Mathematics, and 25 each on Human Sciences and Natural Sciences. Every correct answer is a step forward in your heroic career.

Physical Preparation: In the Physical Aptitude Test, an important challenge awaits candidates. Your athletic abilities essential for entering the Officer Training Course will be evaluated. Only candidates approved in the Objective Exam will be invited to this stage. Preparing for this test is crucial. You will face:

2,400-meter middle-distance run in 12 minutes;
100-meter swim in 2 minutes and 30 seconds;
Pull-ups for 3 repetitions;
35 sit-ups in 1 minute.

RJ Firefighter Exam for Soldier and Sergeant Moves Full Speed Ahead

Meanwhile, the RJ firefighter exam for Soldier and 3rd Sergeant is underway. The results of the Physical Aptitude Test and the call for the Health Examination and Specific Skill Test have already been announced. There are 800 immediate vacancies, distributed among the positions of Soldier and 3rd Music Sergeant, also requiring a high school diploma. The initial salaries range from R$ 2,791.72 to R$ 5,056.46.
