Embraer’s internship program opens hundreds of in-person positions in different Brazilian cities and expands focus on diversity, corporate benefits, and future hiring possibilities for students in strategic areas related to technology, engineering, operations, and administrative sectors of the aeronautical industry.
Scheduled to start in September, Embraer has opened applications for 200 internship positions in different Brazilian cities, expanding the search for students interested in working in administrative, technological, industrial, and engineering areas within one of the largest aircraft manufacturers in the world.
In addition to covering various sectors of the company, the program will have half of the opportunities directed to underrepresented groups, mainly women, black, mixed-race people, and people with disabilities, reinforcing the diversity strategy adopted by the Brazilian manufacturer in recent years.
Distributed among corporate areas, operations, technology, and technical functions, the positions are concentrated in São José dos Campos, Botucatu, Taubaté, Gavião Peixoto, Sorocaba, and the capital São Paulo, although the company also maintains opportunities in other locations in the country.

Embraer internship positions cover different areas
Intended for students with active enrollment in higher education, the selection process does not limit participation to a single course, as Embraer aims to fill positions related to different operational, technical, and administrative fronts within the company.
While corporate and administrative areas focus on management and internal support functions, the engineering and operations sectors offer direct contact with industrial projects, technical development, and activities related to aeronautical production.
There is also demand for students in the technology area, a segment that has gained increasing relevance in the aerospace sector by bringing together activities related to automation, data analysis, digital systems, innovation, and solutions applied to the company’s operations.
In-person model requires availability for relocation
As the program will be developed in a 100% in-person format, the company informed that candidates need to live in the regions where positions are available or be willing to relocate during the internship period.
This condition mainly applies to units with a higher concentration of opportunities, including São José dos Campos, considered Embraer’s main headquarters, as well as Botucatu, Taubaté, Gavião Peixoto, Sorocaba, and the city of São Paulo.
In this model, students will have closer contact with technical teams, production areas, offices, and strategic sectors of the manufacturer, as the company has not indicated the adoption of remote work as a standard for this edition of the program.
Benefits include agreements, shuttle, and chance of hiring
Those approved will receive a scholarship and will have access to benefits offered by Embraer, including medical insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, and meals provided at the company’s units.
The package also includes shuttle transportation, programs to encourage physical activity through Wellhub/Gympass, and paid leave, benefits often considered attractive by students seeking their first professional experience in large companies.
In addition to the possibility of hiring at the end of the internship, selected candidates will be able to participate in internal projects and have direct contact with aerospace industry specialists, a scenario highlighted by the company as part of the practical training offered during the program.
Diversity program reserves half of the vacancies
Among the program’s most notable points is the allocation of half of the vacancies to underrepresented groups, a policy that includes women, black people, mixed-race people, and people with disabilities in areas historically marked by a lower presence of these groups.
With this initiative, Embraer claims to seek greater diversity in different sectors of the company, especially in technical and industrial roles where representation still appears below the desired level in the job market.
While expanding the focus on inclusion, the program maintains opportunities for students from different academic backgrounds, combining requirements related to professional profile, on-site availability, and interest in the aerospace sector.
How to apply for the Embraer internship
Applications must be made online, on the Embraer website, until June 5, 2026.
The program for those approved is scheduled to start in September 2026, according to the calendar released by the company.
