Danish JYSK Expansion Creates Job Opportunities in Portugal and Spain, Ideal for Those Looking to Work Abroad

If you are in search of a new job opportunity, this is your chance! JYSK, a Danish company specializing in furniture and décor, announced the opening of 400 vacancies in Portugal and Spain. The company plans to open 30 new stores in the Iberian Peninsula by 2025, with a total investment of € 15 million euros, according to the website Vagas Pelo Mundo.

30 New Stores and 400 Jobs

JYSK, which already employs more than 31,000 employees worldwide, is expanding its presence in Europe. The new stores will be opened in strategic cities in Portugal and Spain, with the first inaugurations planned for Ovar, Sintra, and Vila Nova de Gaia starting in early 2025.

“We are proud to continue growing to achieve the goal of reaching 80 stores in Portugal in the coming years,” said Carlos Haba, director of JYSK Portugal and Spain. The company already has 28 stores in Portugal and intends to further expand its network, creating opportunities in various areas such as sales, distribution, management, and administration.
