The new construction will occupy nearly 20,000 m² of a total area of almost 34,000 m² near BR-050, in the northern zone of Uberlândia. According to the company’s data, Braspress averages 2 million deliveries per month. The company is the only one that serves 100% of the national territory, with 99% of the coverage being provided with its own resources. Today, the company has 15 branches in Minas Gerais and 100 overall in Brazil, in addition to seven others in Latin America.

Businessman Helou stated, “We are a technology company focused on logistics. It is a fact that the activity shrank during the pandemic, but we did not stop,” when asked about the company’s construction activities even during the pandemic.

The new unit in Uberlândia will have characteristics similar to other Braspress hubs across the country, such as in the cities of São Paulo – SP, Rio de Janeiro – RJ, and Curitiba – PR. The company has been present in the municipality since 1977 and is banking on the new headquarters due to the city’s characteristics.

According to the businessman, the location will also facilitate supply to cities in the Southeast and Midwest, providing great ease of movement.

The mayor, Odelmo Leão, from the PP party, stated, “The construction of the company’s collection, sorting, and distribution center will bring investment and jobs to our people, demonstrating confidence in our city’s potential.”
