Electric scooters are becoming increasingly popular, especially in India, where the segment has grown significantly due to their lower price and convenience compared to gasoline motorcycles. The Faast F2F electric scooter from Okaya is the latest addition to the light electric mobility market in India and stands out as an affordable option.
New Low-Cost Scooter Features Three Driving Modes
With a selling price of just Rs 83,999, which converts directly to R$ 5,240.33, the electric scooter is among the most affordable models sold in the Indian market. Although it has a low cost, the vehicle boasts a 2.2 kilowatt-hour battery and an 800-watt hub motor that provides a claimed range of 80 km on a single charge.
It is worth noting that the low-cost scooter features telescopic front forks and spring-driven hydraulic shock absorbers for suspension, and drum brakes on both wheels.

Electric Scooter Will Come in Various Color Options
Okaya is a relatively new manufacturer in the Indian electric scooter market, but this has not stopped it from providing a quality option at lower prices in a country that is one of the most essential electric vehicle markets in the world. The arrival of the new model Faast F2F further expands the large portfolio of electric scooters available in the Indian market.
Its success could inspire other companies to offer affordable and practical vehicles for consumers seeking sustainable mobility. The Faast F2F electric scooter is available in six color options: Metallic Black, Matte Green, Cyan, Metallic Grey, Metallic White, and Metallic Silver. Its attractive price and basic features may make it one of the top choices for electric mobility for a broader audience in India.
Other Models Available in India
In addition to Okaya’s low-cost scooter, in February of this year, iGowise Mobility introduced its newest model of affordable electric scooter, the BeiGo X4. The vehicle surprises everyone who knows its striking features.
The model has a very low cost and, besides being economical, can deliver a range of 150 km without requiring charging and offers a storage compartment with space for 60 liters, located just below the seat.
Currently, the price of the electric scooter is quite affordable at 110,000 Indian rupees, which converts to around R$ 6,900. This is a great opportunity to access a vehicle with all the required specifications.
The vehicle’s great range is linked to the use of LifePO4 batteries, which are very durable and long-lasting. The rechargeable batteries in this model offer great practicality, with up to 2,600 potential cycles. This shows a significant advantage over other models, such as the Voltz EV1 Sport, which has only 3,000 cycles and a range of up to 100 km with one battery or 180 km with two. The electric scooter also features another differentiator in its trunk, as it can store up to 60 liters, compared to the 18 liters of its competitors.
