Group Reinforces Commitment to Diversity and Jumps 28 Positions in the ESG Integrity Yearbook
Equatorial Energia has been selected again to be part of IDIVERSA B3, an index from B3 that recognizes companies with solid practices in diversity. The new composition of the index, referring to the period from September to December 2025, confirms the company’s ongoing commitment to inclusion and equity.
Inclusion in the IDIVERSA B3 Index
Equatorial’s presence in IDIVERSA is not unprecedented. However, its reinstatement in 2025 reinforces the company’s positioning as a promoter of good practices in the financial market. Thus, diversity remains consolidated as one of the strategic pillars of the group’s ESG agenda.
According to Gabriella Coutinho, corporate manager of ESG at Equatorial, “being part of IDIVERSA once again is a recognition of our commitment to diversity. This achievement confirms that the Group is on the right path by integrating inclusion and equity into corporate culture and the ESG practices that guide the business.”

The IDIVERSA B3 is a theoretical portfolio of assets composed of listed companies that excel in diversity criteria. Thus, the index reflects the average performance of the shares of companies evaluated based on the Diversity Score, a methodology developed by B3 itself. The update occurs quarterly, based on the latest information presented in the Reference Forms of the companies.
Highlight in the National ESG Ranking
In addition to reintegration into IDIVERSA B3, Equatorial Energia achieved 7th place in the ESG Integrity Yearbook 2025, a national publication that recognizes Brazilian companies with the highest reputation in sustainability. This result was announced in the 3rd edition of the Yearbook, conducted by Insight Comunicação, with institutional support from the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV).
In 2024, the company was ranked 34th in the ranking. Therefore, the leap of 28 positions in just one year highlights the strengthening of its ESG culture and the appreciation of its governance, social, and environmental practices.
The survey uses the ESG Image Index (iESG), which evaluates organizations across three dimensions: environmental, social, and governance. Thus, Equatorial’s evolution demonstrates consistency in the implementation of sustainable policies that directly engage with investors and society.
Strategic Advances and Recognition
With the inclusion in IDIVERSA B3 in the period from September to December 2025 and recognition among the 10 Brazilian companies with the highest ESG reputation, Equatorial Energia reinforces its relevance in the national corporate landscape.
This positive performance also reflects integrated management that prioritizes diversity, equity, and sustainability. Furthermore, it strengthens the company’s image in front of stakeholders and investors, increasing confidence in its business model.
