Meet Xiaomi Automobile – A Record-Breaking Manufacturer Solidifying Its Place In The Market
Alongside giant brands such as Samsung, Huawei, and Apple, Xiaomi has been standing out as the second-largest manufacturer of phones and mobile devices, losing only to Samsung, with revenue of over $40 billion in just the last 10 years.
Xiaomi was able to establish itself in the global market after launching various phones and, some time later, other mobile devices that won consumers over with their good quality and excellent cost-benefit.
Now, it arrives as Xiaomi Automobile, the new automotive manufacturer that launched the electric car named Xiaomi SU7.
SU7 Model From Xiaomi Automobile Is Considered The Electric Car Of The Moment
With the launch of the SU7 model, Xiaomi intends to compete directly with the best-selling electric cars, such as the BMW 4 Series, Porsche Cayman, Tesla Model 3, S and Y, as well as Audi e-tron GT, Mercedes-Benz E-Class, and other luxury cars from the automotive industry.
To secure the purchase of the SU7, buyers must make a non-refundable deposit of $100 (one hundred dollars). At the end of the 7 days from the moment the deposit is recorded, the car is delivered to the buyer. It is worth noting that this is a common practice among car manufacturers during vehicle pre-orders.
SU7 Reveals Features That Set It Apart From Its Competitors
To start, its price is simply astonishing, starting at $29,900, which is much lower than what is expected by American and European electric car manufacturers, as their cars – which have similar operation models – usually start at $45,000 or more.
The price range revealed by Xiaomi places the SU7 well below the average cost of American and European electric cars. Even though it is considered a low-cost model, the SU7 does not fall short in performance. Although it is a basic model, the Xiaomi SU7 delivers power that impresses anyone.
Moreover, the Xiaomi SU7 offers a driving range superior to that of other electric cars in the same class.
SU7 Performance
When it comes to performance, the SU7 stands up even against the most expensive supercars in the automotive industry. The model offers an impressive acceleration, going from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.78 seconds, putting it on par with the Tesla Model S and the Porsche.
The SU7 comes equipped with battery options that include battery packs of 73.6 kWh, 94.3 kWh, and 101 kWh, offering a range of 700 km, 800 km, and 830 km on a single charge.
Design Of The Xiaomi SU7
The design of the SU7 was created by the collaboration of Xiaomi’s head of design Li Tianyuan, along with James Qiu and Chris Bangle, the latter being a renowned automotive designer with a high level of experience at BMW.

The model features LED headlights divided into two halves with a triangular side opening, strategically designed to reduce air resistance when the vehicle is at high speeds.
The Xiaomi SU7 has a super-modern design, with a futuristic yet elegant touch, but without losing the traditional elements presented in most cars. Weighing approximately 2.2 tons, with a wheelbase of 3m, the SU7 is taller than the Porsche.
Advanced Features
When it comes to advanced features, the Xiaomi model has a 14 cm display that projects speed and information directly onto the windshield. The central touchscreen reveals a beautiful and generous 41 cm display, with a maximum resolution of 3K, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 system and, of course, running on MIUI software.
Additionally, the advanced features system of the SU7 from Xiaomi includes internet navigation, Bluetooth, a 360º camera, video playback, and management of multiple functions simultaneously.
The Xiaomi SU7 also features a front solar glass sunroof, rear seats with air vents, and USB support. The driver also benefits from Xiaomi Pilot assistance, which offers the driver 16 standard features that provide advanced driving assistance.
The new car from Xiaomi has arrived to shake up the automotive industry and revolutionize the concept of electric cars.
