Celeo Redes Brasil will build a new solar power plant in the state of Piauí. This new venture will have 400 to 500 megawatts of energy generated from solar panels, with operations expected to start in January 2025. The investment, ranging from R$ 1.2 to 1.5 billion, will create over a thousand job openings during the construction phase.

Solar Power Plant In Piauí
Celeo Redes already has an operational solar park in São João do Piauí and intends to expand it to double its production capacity. The company is also constructing a 415-kilometer transmission line that will connect the states of Piauí and Ceará, expected to start commercial operations in April 2021.
The new solar power plant will be located between the municipalities of Buriti dos Lopes and Bom Princípio do Piauí, in the northern part of the state. The investments that will be made will boost the region and create many jobs in the state of Piauí.

Now, the company is set to invest even more in solar energy generation, leading to the creation of numerous jobs with the construction of the new solar power plant in the state of Piauí.
Howzembergson de Brito, director of Renewable Energies at Seminper, stated that the project is in the licensing phase at the State Department of Environment and Water Resources (Semar), with the process underway. “Piauí continues to attract investments in energy and new projects will be installed. This is already a reality in our state. These investments generate jobs and boost the economy in the regions where they are implemented,” informed the manager.
