IFSP announced, through Notice No. 3/2024, the opening of 30 vacancies for the Lato Sensu Postgraduate course in Interdisciplinary Teaching of Natural Sciences and Mathematics.

With no tuition, monthly fees or registration costs, the specialization stands out as an excellent training opportunity for teachers.
The course, aimed at educators with degrees recognized by the MEC, has as its central objective to integrate Natural Sciences and Mathematics in an innovative and interdisciplinary approach.
Classes will be taught in person in the evening, always on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 19 pm to 22:35 pm, over two semesters.

In addition to offering quality specialization, IFSP reaffirms its commitment to inclusion. Some of the vacancies are reserved for affirmative action, including black, mixed race or indigenous candidates (PPI), quilombolas and people with disabilities (PCD).

The organization of the selection process is the responsibility of the Course Board, which will evaluate the following documents and criteria:
- Graduation certificate issued by an institution recognized by the MEC;
- Proof of teaching experience;
- Other criteria described in the notice, which may include qualitative analysis of documents.
The stages of the selection process will follow this schedule:
- Announcement of the preliminary result: February 12, 2025;
- Period for appeals: until February 13, 2025;
- Announcement of the final result: February 14, 2025.
