A company in Itajubá, in Southern Minas, made investments of R$ 100 million, which should generate around 400 direct and indirect jobs by the end of next year. The Raymundo da Fonte Group already provides jobs for about 114 people. The company held the official inauguration ceremony for its factory this Saturday (4/12). According to the group’s press office, the factory is already operating in the municipality of Minas Gerais and has the capacity to produce up to half a million sanitary water tanks monthly. According to the group, this total accounts for 20% of the entire sanitary water production capacity of the group.

90% of the Factory’s Employees Are From the Municipality
The Raymundo da Fonte Group’s factory in Minas Gerais, which received millions in investments and will create many jobs, covers an area of 14,000 m² and was designed to accommodate future expansion. In the municipality, the factory has already generated about 114 direct jobs in the first phase of installation.
The goal, according to the company, is to exceed 400 direct and indirect jobs by the end of next year. According to the press office, 90% of the employees live in the municipality of Minas Gerais or the surrounding area.
Indirectly, the factory in Minas Gerais, which received investments, is also expected to impact the local suppliers’ production chain, small businesses in the region, and the technical workforce. All employees underwent integration into the company’s culture and technical training to meet the industrial quality standards of the group.
Agility and Quality in Distribution and Supply of Your Products
According to the press office, the industry has been certified by GPTW as an excellent place to work and also has a portfolio of various products, consisting of leading brands in the sector.
In total, there are over 330 cleaning items, condiments, personal hygiene products, and insecticides, which have been part of Brazilian families for 75 years. All products are sold through the distribution center associated with the factory.
The group explains that it made investments in a logistics system to ensure quality and agility in the supply and distribution of products. This ensures faster deliveries and more efficient supply in the markets of São Paulo and Minas Gerais.
