Opportunity Brings Free Technical Course, Guaranteed Monthly Scholarship, and Priority for Vulnerable Groups, in Selection Held by Electronic Public Draw, with Registrations Open Until September 1, 2025.

The Federal Institute of Pernambuco (IFPE) – Igarassu Campus has opened registrations for the free technical course in Production Planning and Control under the Petrobras Autonomy and Income Program, executed in partnership with FAIFSUL.

There are 70 spots for in-person and subsequent offering after High School, with a total workload of 800 hours over 12 months and classes from Monday to Friday, from 5 PM to 9 PM.

Registrations are open from August 19 to September 1, 2025, at 11:59 PM, through the Autonomy and Income Portal.

The announcement provides for a monthly aid of R$ 660 for all selected students and R$ 858 monthly for women with children up to 11 years and 11 months.

Monthly Scholarship and Rules to Maintain the Benefit

Throughout the course, students will be entitled to R$ 660 monthly as a maintenance aid.

The announcement also establishes a different amount of R$ 858 monthly for women with children under 12 years old.

To maintain the payment, achieving a minimum attendance of 75% each academic month is mandatory.

The benefit is linked to the effective stay of the student and compliance with the academic requirements of the program.

Who Can Register: Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be 18 years old or older, have completed High School, and have attended all of Elementary School in a public school.

It is required to be in a condition of social vulnerability, with per capita family income of up to the minimum wage and no formal employment relationship at the time of registration.

The selection prioritizes historically vulnerable profiles, with an emphasis on women, trans people, Indigenous people, quilombolas, refugees, people with disabilities, and black and brown people.

There is also territorial priority for residents of municipalities in the influence area of Petrobras operations in Pernambuco, particularly Ipojuca, Cabo de Santo Agostinho, and Igarassu.

How the Selection Will Be and the Calendar of the Process

The classification will occur by electronic public draw, with transmission via FAIFSUL’s YouTube channel, according to the official schedule of the announcement.

Each applicant receives a participation number, and the draw order is generated by software used in selective processes of Federal Institutes, ensuring traceability through numerical seed.

The calendar foresees the publication of the list of applicants on September 8, 2025, the conduct of the draw on September 10, and the publication of the final result with calls on September 12.

Then, the selected individuals must complete in-person enrollment from September 15 to 26 at the offering campus, on weekdays and during defined hours.

The classes start on November 3, 2025.

Course, Workload, and Class Routine

The offering is in-person and subsequent, aimed at those who have completed High School.

The course consists of 800 hours and lasts 12 months, with meetings from Monday to Friday, from 5 PM to 9 PM.

The pedagogical planning follows the Access, Permanence, and Success methodology of the Autonomy and Income Program, aligned with the axis of control and industrial processes.

In the end, those who meet the approval and minimum attendance criteria will receive Technical certification according to the pedagogical project of the course.

Documents and Enrollment: What to Present

The convoked individuals must appear at IFPE – Igarassu Campus for enrollment with the personal and academic documents listed in the announcement, including identity document, CPF, proof of address, High School transcript or certificate, and photo 3×4.

Men aged 18 to 45 must prove military regularity, and those over 18 must present electoral clearance.

A bank account document in the name of the candidate is also required for receiving the scholarship.

Those applying under quotas must submit, in addition to the general documents, the specific proofs for each modality, such as ethnic-racial self-declaration, medical report in case of people with disabilities, or quilombola belonging documentation.

According to the rules of the announcement, the failure to prove the declared profile implies loss of the right to the vacancy in the corresponding affirmative action.

Territorial Priority and Target Audience

The territorial focus of the program considers the municipalities influenced by the Abreu e Lima Refinery (RNEST) in Pernambuco.

Therefore, candidates residing in Ipojuca, Cabo de Santo Agostinho, and Igarassu are prioritized, provided they meet the legal and vulnerability requirements simultaneously.

Nonetheless, the process respects the Quota Law and allocates spots between open competition and affirmative actions, with reclassification rules for the complete filling of the class.

Facilitated Access and Support for the Candidate

To reduce entry barriers, the announcement maintains service points on campus throughout the week, in defined shifts.

The service provides guidance on correctly filling out the form and organizing income proofs and other requirements.

In parallel, the draw process is recorded and remains available on the partner foundation’s channel, ensuring transparency and auditability of the selection.

Technical Training Focused on Employability

The Production Planning and Control course prepares professionals to work in production management, material planning, monitoring indicators, and optimizing processes in the industrial sector.

The proposal combines theoretical foundation and practical application to the productive reality, aiming to increase employability for groups with less access to opportunities.

By integrating free qualification and a monthly scholarship, the program aims to ensure permanence until certification, a central condition for market insertion.

How to Register

Registrations are free and must be made exclusively at the Autonomy and Income Portal, until September 1, 2025, at 11:59 PM.
