The Innovation Fair Presents a Special Arena to Discuss Energy Solutions Between July 18 and 21.
In a scenario where more than 90% of the energy generated and used by society in the first three months of 2023 came from renewable sources, renewable energy and energy security stand out as relevant topics in Brazil. According to the National Electric System Operator (ONS), the predominance of hydraulic, wind, biomass, and solar sources is a testament to the country’s unique ability to generate clean energy.
Changes in Energy: Impacts and Opportunities
The questions arising from this reality revolve around how the energy transition will affect the production, distribution, and consumption of energy. How prices will be affected and how industries can adapt are daily questions for business leaders across various sectors. In this context, FIEE 2023 promises to be the epicenter of these discussions, held at São Paulo Expo from July 18 to 21.
An Arena for Energy Solutions
An integral part of FIEE 2023, the Energy Solutions Arena will be the stage for discussing topics exclusively focused on the energy sector. Over two days, participants will be able to engage in discussions on new technologies and solutions for energy system integration, connectivity perspectives for electrical systems, and challenges in energy distribution for electric vehicle charging infrastructure.

FIEE, which will feature four Knowledge Arenas, will serve as a space to discuss technology, innovation, sustainability, and building automation, in addition to energy. Tadeu Sampaio, operations director of Eletrol Sistemas de Energia, highlights the growing relevance of energy efficiency and the use of renewable sources in the industrial sector, driven by concerns about sustainability and the need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
FIEE will host over 400 brands showcasing solutions and innovations, organized by RX Brasil with technical curation by ABINEE.
The Future of Energy
On the first day of activities in the Energy Solutions Arena, one of the most anticipated lectures is by the president of ABRATE, Mario Dias Miranda, who will discuss “Electrical Systems and Connectivity Perspectives.”
On the following day, Hamilton Ortiz, industry manager at Mitsidi, will bring to light the theme “New Technologies for Energy Savings and Renewables.” Ortiz will discuss energy efficiency solutions for the industry, practical strategies to reduce energy consumption, and energy storage technologies.
“The arenas take place within FIEE in an interesting and modern format. The idea is to take advantage of those who are at the fair to follow shorter panels on interesting topics around four main macro themes with industry specialists, and the Energy Solutions Arena is one of them,” concludes Israel Guratti, Technology and Industrial Policy Manager at ABINEE.
