The innovation fair features a special arena to discuss energy solutions between July 18th and 21st.

In a scenario where more than 90% of the energy generated and used by society in the first three months of 2023 came from renewable sources, Renewable energy and energy security stand out as topics of relevance in Brazil. According to the National Electrical System Operator (ONS), the predominance of hydraulic, wind, biomass and solar sources is proof of the country's unique capacity to generate clean energy.

Energy Shifts: Impacts and Opportunities

The questions that arise from this reality revolve around how the energy transition will affect energy production, distribution and consumption. How prices will be affected and how industries can adapt are daily questions for business leaders in various segments. In this context, FIEE 2023 promises to be the epicenter of these discussions, held at São Paulo Expo between July 18th and 21st.

An Arena for Energy Solutions

An integral part of FIEE 2023, the Energy Solutions Arena will be the stage to debate topics exclusively focused on the energy sector. During two days, participants will be able to participate in discussions about new technologies and solutions for energy system integration, connectivity perspectives for electrical systems and challenges in energy distribution for charging infrastructure for electric vehicles.

FIEE, which will feature four Arenas of Knowledge, will be a space to discuss technology, innovation, sustainability and building automation, as well as energy. Tadeu Sampaio, director of operations at Eletrol Sistemas de Energia, highlights the growing importance of energy efficiency and the use of renewable sources in the industrial sector, driven by concerns about sustainability and the need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

FIEE will feature more than 400 brands exhibiting solutions and innovations, organized by RX Brasil with technical curation by ABINEE.

The Future of Energy

On the first day of activities at the Energy Solutions Arena, one of the most anticipated lectures is that of the president of ABRATE, Mario Dias Miranda, who will discuss “Electrical Systems and connectivity perspectives”.

The following day, Hamilton Ortiz, Mitsidi's industry manager, will bring up the theme “New Technologies for Energy Saving and Renewables“. Ortiz will discuss energy efficiency solutions for industry, practical strategies to reduce energy consumption and energy storage technologies.

“The arenas take place inside the FIEE with an interesting and modern format. The idea is to take advantage of those who are at the fair to follow shorter panels, on interesting topics around four major macro-themes with specialists from the sector and the Energy Solution Arena is one of them”, concludes Israel Guratti, manager of Technology and Industrial Policy at ABINEE .
