In 2024, the Onix, Corolla, Civic, and Kwid will face a new competitor in the Brazilian market: the Citroën C3. Its first version was launched in 2022 in Brazil, and the new Citroën C3 1.0 Live Pack 2024 has taken a role within the French brand’s lineup, transitioning from a premium compact hatch to a popular car. The good news is that the Citroën C3 1.0 Live Pack is now one of the cheapest cars of 2024, making it an attractive option for consumers considering acquiring a Kwid or Mobi.

It is worth mentioning that the popular car, one of the cheapest cars of 2024, has the advantage of being a low-cost project for emerging markets, with its design originating from India. This allows the model to have a more competitive pricing.

It is true that, just like the Renault Kwid, its development took place on the other side of the world, but it underwent important structural changes to meet the minimum safety and emissions standards required for the national market.

Citroën C3 1.0 Live Pack Arrives on the Market Priced at R$ 80,000

Now, the new popular car has become one of the cheapest cars of 2024, following the recent price increase of the Fiat Mobi, which rose to R$ 71,990. It is also worth mentioning that the Citroën C3 1.0 Live Pack 2024 is now more affordable than another subcompact hatch: the Renault Kwid, which has a price of R$ 71,190.

Thus, Stellantis is making a strong bet on the French manufacturer’s hatch, which becomes not only the cheapest car in Brazil but also a better value proposition from a cost-benefit perspective. The new popular car Citroën C3 is a larger compact hatch with more space compared to the Fiat Mobi and Renault Kwid.

Currently, the new popular car starts at R$ 80,990, a price already below the aforementioned subcompacts. However, it is important to mention that the manufacturer is selling its hatch for R$ 80,990 for the 2023/2024 units, which makes it an even better deal in the entry-level segment. New Popular Car Citroën C3 Delivers 75 Hp

Under the hood, the Citroën C3, one of the cheapest cars of 2024, features the 1.0 three-cylinder Firefly engine, which powers other Stellantis hatches like the Fiat Argo and Peugeot 208. This engine was previously offered in the Mobi for a period; however, Fiat discontinued it and only retained the 1.0 Fire Evo).

This engine delivers a power of 71/75 hp at 6,000 RPM and 10/10.7 kgfm of torque at 3,250 RPM, always working with a five-speed manual transmission.

This is another advantage of the new popular car over the Fiat Mobi, which still has the infamous 1.0 four-cylinder Fire engine with 73/75 hp at 6,250 RPM and 9.5/9.9 kgfm at 3,850 RPM, also with five-speed transmission. The Kwid also features a 1.0 three-cylinder engine but with 66/70 horsepower at 5,500 RPM and 9.4/9.7 kgfm at 4,250 RPM.
