This Friday, (07/05), Firjan SENAI is accepting applications for 1,985 spots in technical courses at the secondary level, completely free, in various fields. This initiative aims to provide quality professional training and expand job and income opportunities for youth and adults throughout the state of Rio de Janeiro.
Where Are the Spots Available?
The spots are strategically distributed across Firjan SENAI units in various locations in Rio de Janeiro.
In the Metropolitan Region, interested parties can apply at the units in Benfica, Maracanã, Laranjeiras, Tijuca, Jacarepaguá, Vila Isabel, Santa Cruz, Duque de Caxias, Nova Iguaçu, Itaguaí, Niterói, and São Gonçalo.

Take a technical course at the Federal Institute: there are over 950 open spots in free technical courses in Logistics, Mechanics, Baking, Building Construction, and Renewable Energy Systems at IFPI.

What Are the Requirements to Apply for the Spots?
Those interested in participating in the technical courses must meet the specific prerequisites for each course, including minimum age, appropriate education, and proof of per capita family income.
It is necessary to register in person at the chosen Firjan SENAI unit by July 18.
The selection of candidates will be conducted through a test on July 20, which will include questions on Portuguese Language and Mathematics.
Schedule and Registration of Approved Students in Free Technical Courses
The schedule of activities is defined as follows: the registration period runs from June 24 to July 18, 2024, followed by the selection test on July 20.
The announcement of the classification is scheduled for July 26, and the registration of approved students will take place from July 29 to August 5.
The start of classes is set for August 12.
