Xiaomi announced in China the Mijia Mini Dual-Zone Washing and Drying Machine 1kg, a compact washer and dryer with two independent compartments, designed to wash small items separately, such as underwear, socks, light towels, and children’s items.
With an initial price of 1,499 yuan, equivalent to about R$ 1,1 thousand in approximate conversion, the model entered pre-sale in the Chinese market and had sales starting on May 30, 2026.
The proposal stated by the manufacturer is to cater to consumers living in compact apartments or who prefer to separate intimate items and baby clothes from other items used in the household routine.

In addition to the dual drum, the Mijia Mini Dual-Zone Washing and Drying Machine 1kg offers high-temperature cycles, with washing reaching up to 95 °C, according to data released by Xiaomi.
The feature is presented by the manufacturer as an option for sanitizing small items and helping to remove more resistant dirt, especially in washing underwear and children’s items.
The machine also has a high-temperature drum self-cleaning function, aimed at internal maintenance of the equipment after continuous use cycles.
With this process, the device removes accumulated residues inside the compartments, according to Xiaomi, which can be relevant in a machine dedicated to items in direct contact with the skin.
Another piece of data released about the model involves efficiency rates for specific stains, including protein residues and blood stains, presented in the manufacturer’s Chinese material.
These indicators depend on local testing criteria and, therefore, should not be directly compared with certifications or measurements adopted in other markets without the same methodology.
The product’s commercial proposal is to act as a complementary washer for quick cycles and selected items, rather than replacing conventional machines used for larger volumes of clothes.
Intelligent sensor drying automatically adjusts the cycle

Regular sales were scheduled to start on May 30, 2026, according to information released by local channels and materials associated with the launch in the country.
So far, there is no confirmed official launch in Brazil, nor have national price, arrival date, or potential product adaptation for other markets been informed.
In the event of independent importation, the final value may differ from the direct conversion due to shipping, taxes, resale margin, and exchange rate variation.
For this reason, the equivalent in reais serves only as an approximate reference of the price announced in China, without representing an official value for Brazilian consumers.
