The São Paulo government opens 1,700 spots in free courses in the capital and Greater São Paulo, with classes starting on April 27 and registrations available in person or online for areas with high demand in the job market.

Classes will be in-person, at the Manguinhos Campus in Rio de Janeiro, and are scheduled to start later this year.
Who Can Participate in the Course?
To apply, you must meet some basic requirements: have completed high school, be in the third year, or have passed supplementary exams, such as Encceja.
Additionally, candidates must be at least 18 years old by the start of classes. The course will last for two years, with classes taking place during the day, from Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 12 PM.
The selection process will be conducted through a public notice. Those approved, in addition to attending theoretical classes, will complete a mandatory internship, with a workload of 400 hours, at health units affiliated with FIOCRUZ.
What Is Offered by the Technical Course in Radiology?
The radiology course is part of the National Catalog of Technical Courses from the Ministry of Education (CNCT) and is legally grounded by the Law of Guidelines and Bases of National Education.
This means that the training is nationally recognized and follows strict standards, ensuring that professionals are prepared to perform their roles competently and safely.
The role of the radiology technician is essential in the health field, responsible for operating imaging diagnostic equipment, such as X-rays and tomography.
In addition to knowing how to handle technologies, the professional learns to deal with safety when using ionizing radiation, ensuring accurate diagnoses while minimizing risks to patients and themselves.

Mandatory Internship and Course Completion
At the end of the course, students will undergo a mandatory internship, performed in health institutions partnered with FIOCRUZ.
The internship has a workload of 400 hours, and it will be during this period that the students will have the opportunity to apply what they learned in a real work environment, interacting with patients and professionals in the field.
Upon completing the internship and all course requirements, students will receive the technician certification in radiology, being qualified to enter the job market.
