The Current ID Will No Longer Be Valid in 2032, and All Brazilians Will Have to Migrate to the National Identity Card (CIN), Which Will Use the CPF as a Unique Identification Number.
The current General Registry (RG) will no longer be valid as of 2032, and all Brazilians will need to migrate to the National Identity Card (CIN). The measure aims to unify documentation under a single number, the CPF, eliminating discrepancies between states and increasing security against fraud.
According to the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services, the CIN represents a structural change in the civil identification system, bringing greater reliability to citizens’ information and simplifying bureaucratic processes.
What Changes with the National Identity Card
The main change is the unification of documents: the CPF will be the official identification number throughout the national territory, replacing different state RG records.

Excelente ideia a implantação da CIN, porém os Governos estaduais não conseguem atender a demanda, falta recursos técnicos e mão de obra.
Fiz o pedido 2 vezes porém não chegou pra mim não sei o motivo ninguém me informa.
Faço a seguinte observação: Informe que a nova carteira já está valendo e devendo ser utilizada. Muitas pessoas estão aguardando o novo prazo para utilização da nova carteira. O CIN já está ativo.
