Want to Study for Free? Fatec Offers Spots in In-Person and Distance Learning Undergraduate Programs in Engineering, Digital Games, Health, and Much More.
Entering a quality undergraduate program without spending anything and with a diploma recognized by the MEC is no longer just a distant dream. The Centro Paula Souza published the CEETEPS Ordinance No. 4651/2025, which opens the selection process for the Institutes of Technology of the State of São Paulo (Fatecs) for the 1st semester of 2026. There are thousands of spots in free technological undergraduate programs, both in-person and in Distance Learning, in areas ranging from engineering to civil construction, including management, health, industry, IT, and even digital games.
According to the president of Centro Paula Souza, Clóvis de Souza Dias, the goal is clear: “to train professionals capable of meeting local productive arrangements and the technological transformations that the world demands”. This vision reinforces the role of Fatecs as institutions that unite innovation, the job market, and social inclusion.

How In-Person and Distance Learning Courses at Fatec Work
In-person courses have classes during the week, from Monday to Friday, and in some locations also on Saturdays. In the Distance Learning format, students have the flexibility to study online, needing to attend in person only at specific times: exams, internship orientations, and thesis work.
The technological undergraduate model offered by Fatecs is aligned with the National Catalog of Higher Technology Courses (CNCST), which guarantees national validity and recognition by MEC. Additionally, some campuses offer experimental programs that meet regional demands and innovation trends, strengthening the link between education and the job market.
Highlighted Areas: From Engineering to Health
The announcement includes options in practically all major economic sectors. Among the most sought-after courses are engineering, civil construction, information technology, business management, health, and digital games.

- +13% for those who meet both criteria.
This inclusion model guarantees greater opportunities for students from different social profiles, expanding the reach of free technological education.
