According to Fernanda Sacchi, Director of People and Management at Grupo Equatorial, the Electrician School represents a real gateway to the job market.
According to her, the program connects technical training, income generation, and local development in areas served by the company.
Program has already trained nearly 2,000 professionals
Since its creation, the Electrician School has shown consistent results and continues to expand.
Between 2022 and 2025, the program trained 1,930 professionals. Of this total, the job market absorbed 1,137 people, according to data from Grupo Equatorial.
This result represents an average employability rate of 60% and reinforces the impact of the initiative on technical training for the electric sector.
The project also advances the diversity agenda, with 21% female participation in a historically male-dominated area.
Selection will have technical and behavioral stages
The candidates’ journey begins with the announcement of the notice, registrations, and behavioral assessment. Then, some locations conduct in-person stages, with psychotechnical evaluations and medical screening.
Subsequently, approved candidates go through technical interviews, enrollment, and an inaugural class. From there, the training combines technical qualification, institutional content, safety, and behavioral development.
The program also includes profile mapping, career talks, and discussion groups.
Safety and standardization gain strength in 2026
In 2026, the Electricians School enters a new stage, with a greater focus on safety, technical standardization, and structured expansion.
The workload may reach 656 hours, with more than 520 hours dedicated to technical qualification.
In this new format, Grupo Equatorial mandatorily includes the Standard Safety Operating Procedures in the training.
With this, students start their professional journey aligned with the standards required by the company from the first contact with the activity.
At the end, the program will monitor results through employability surveys and collaboration with partner companies.
In the face of free training, with financial aid and real demand in the electric sector, how many new careers can start from this opportunity?
