Claude 3.7 Sonnet: New AI Model Promises to “Think” Better Than the Famous and Classic ChatGPT!

The startup Anthropic, a direct rival of OpenAI, has just launched its latest new artificial intelligence model: Claude 3.7 Sonnet. The difference? The promise to think better, follow instructions more accurately, and be much more efficient for programmers, according to the Uol website.

Hybrid AI: Fast Thinking and Enhanced Reasoning

According to Jared Kaplan, co-founder of Anthropic, Claude 3.7 Sonnet goes beyond quick answers. It is a hybrid model, meaning it can provide instant responses or “think” for longer to solve complex questions, analyze data, and write more sophisticated texts.

In recent months, the competition between Claude and ChatGPT has become even more intense. OpenAI launched GPT-4o, a model that promises to be more human by demonstrating the steps of its “thinking”.

On the other hand, Anthropic innovated in AI autonomy with the “Computer Use” feature, allowing Claude to access the internet, browse sites, and even use programs like a human.

The companies Google, Meta, and the Chinese DeepSeek are also racing to dominate generative AI. The recently launched DeepSeek R1 model promises top quality at a lower cost, challenging the giants of the industry.
