Poer P30 And Haval H9 Models Will Be Manufactured In Iracemápolis (SP) With 2.4 Turbo Diesel Engine And 4×4 Traction. Sales Begin In September
GWM (Great Wall Motors) officially announced that it will start, already in August, the production in Brazil of two new vehicles with turbo diesel engine. The chosen ones are the Poer P30 pickup, positioned to compete with Hilux and S10, and the large SUV Haval H9, with capacity for seven occupants. The two pickup and SUV models will be assembled at the factory in Iracemápolis, interior of São Paulo, which previously belonged to Mercedes-Benz, according to the website Motor Show.
Turbo Diesel Engine With Nine-Speed Automatic Transmission
Both the GWM pickup and SUV will be equipped with a 2.4 turbo diesel engine with four cylinders, capable of delivering around 184 hp of power and 49 mkgf of torque, according to data already disclosed in international markets. The setup will work with a nine-speed automatic transmission and 4×4 traction with reduced gearing. GWM has not yet confirmed the official numbers for Brazil.

Investment Of R$ 10 Billion By 2032
The automaker GWM confirmed an investment plan of R$ 10 billion in the country by 2032. The first part, around R$ 4 billion, will be allocated to structuring and starting operations here. The remaining — R$ 6 billion — will be directed towards the brand expansion, development of new models, and job creation.
