The chaos in the offshore world of Macaé, where many Petrobras operations are concentrated, has intensified due to the pandemic caused by Covid-19, and the mass layoff of workers in the sector is one of the few options that contractors can take at this time to minimize accounting impacts, given the halt in maintenance activities.
