Global 8000 executive jet to be presented in São Roque with Mach 0.95 speed, 14,800 km range, low-altitude cabin, and expanded operation at more demanding airports
The Global 8000, the world’s fastest executive jet, will be exhibited by Bombardier at the Catarina Aviation Show, from May 21 to 23, in São Roque (SP), marking its debut at an industry fair.

Anvisa ordered the recall of 24 Ypê products, ranging from dish soap to Tixan liquid soap, after an independent laboratory found the bacterium Pseudomonas aeruginosa, which can cause infections in people with low immunity, and consumers need to check if the lot number ends in 1.
In addition to the Global 8000, the manufacturer will bring the high-performance Global 6500 and the best-selling Challenger 3500 to the event. The sales team will welcome customers and partners during the fair.
The aircraft offer luxury, performance, and range leading in their categories. The models are also designed for operations at airports in regions with high temperatures, high altitude, and short runways.
Mach 0.95 Speed and 14,800 km Range
The Global 8000 combines speed, range, and operational efficiency. The fastest civil aircraft in operation reaches Mach 0.95, about 1,170 km/h, and is presented by Bombardier as representing a new era.
The range reaches 8,000 nautical miles, or 14,800 km. With this capability, the jet connects São Paulo to Perth, Vancouver, and Dubai.
Lower Cabin and Comfort at High Altitudes
Another highlight of the Global 8000 is the lowest cabin altitude in executive aviation in production. Even when flying at 41,000 feet, or 12,500 meters, the cabin is maintained at 2,691 feet, equivalent to 820 meters.
This configuration provides a smoother flight experience. The aim is to reduce physiological stress associated with high-altitude travel, helping passengers arrive more rested.
Advanced Wing Expands Airport Operation
The aircraft stands out for its agility. Its takeoff and landing performance is comparable to that of a light jet, thanks to an advanced wing design with exclusive leading-edge slats.
This combination allows it to operate at up to 30% more airports than its main competitor. This feature reinforces the model’s versatility in demanding scenarios.
Bombardier Reinforces Jet Presence in the Brazilian Market
Frank Vento, Vice President of Sales for the United States and Latin America, stated that the Global 8000 is at the pinnacle of executive aviation. He also highlighted the Global 6500 and Challenger 3500 as proven aircraft.
The executive assessed that the Catarina Aviation Show is an opportunity to present the performance and design attributes of these jets. He also stated that Bombardier is uniquely positioned in the Brazilian market.
