Video Shows iPhone 16 Pro Falling From The Sky After Being Sucked Out Of Airplane — Device Survives Without Any Serious Scratch
An iPhone 16 Pro became the star of an impressive story in Germany. The device fell from a small airplane flying over the Rhine Valley, dropping from an estimated height of over 800 meters — and still survived to tell the tale.
The owner of the phone, Ashley Prange, said the accident happened when the aircraft was flying at about 204 km/h. Amid turbulence, the iPhone was sucked out of the cabin.
To everyone’s surprise, the camera kept recording throughout the fall, capturing rare images of a moment that seemed to signal the end for the device.

Researchers walked 4.6 kilometers through the sertão of Paraíba and found hundreds of rock carvings scattered across rocks — what could be Brazil’s largest archaeological site was hidden on a rural property 20 km from Catolé do Rocha.

Engineers from Iceland descended 4,659 meters into an active volcanic zone, and the IDDP-2 project found supercritical fluids at 427 degrees and 340 bar of pressure, crossing the boundary where water ceases to be liquid or vapor and begins to concentrate energy at extreme levels.

Scientists have created inhalable microrobots with living cells to deliver drugs directly to the lungs, and the technology could cure respiratory diseases through the use of bio-hybrid machines capable of moving inside the body.
Even thinking the phone was lost forever, Ashley decided to open the “Find My iPhone” app and discovered it had been last detected in a dense forest area.
The search in person didn’t take long: shortly after, she located the device intact.
More than that, the iPhone still stored her credit card and driver’s license, which were also recovered. “I don’t know how this is possible.
The phone works perfectly!” said the owner, who credited part of the success to the manufacturer of the protective case, Bellroy — known for producing not just cases but also bags, backpacks, and luggage.
Cases like this, although rare, are not unprecedented. In January 2024, a similar episode occurred when an iPhone was found in perfect condition after falling from an Alaska Airlines plane that had lost one of its doors during the flight.
These events reinforce both the resilience of devices and the importance of quality protective accessories.
