The Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services (MGI) published on Wednesday (3) a regulation authorizing the conduct of a public competition for the provision of 260 vacancies in the personnel framework of the Brazilian Institute of Environment and Renewable Natural Resources (IBAMA). The measure details 130 vacancies for the position of environmental analyst and another 130 for environmental analyst. Both positions in the IBAMA public competition require a higher education degree.
IBAMA Competition: Deadline for Publication of the Notice + IBAMA Environmental Analyst Salary/IBAMA Administrative Analyst Salary
According to the ministry, the responsibility for conducting the IBAMA public competition will be with the environmental agency, which will issue the respective regulations through the publication of notices, ordinances, or other necessary administrative acts for the conduct of the selection process, in addition to observing the laws and regulations that address public competition vacancy reservation policies and ensuring that the actions and procedures provided in the competition are aligned with the effectiveness of such policies.
The deadline for the publication of the IBAMA public competition opening notice will be up to six months. The minimum advance notice between the publication of the notice and the execution of the first exam of the selection process will be two months.

This role involves performing administrative activities, at a higher level, for the organizational units of IBAMA, working in areas such as internal control, documentation, human resources management, material, information technology, preparation of statistical reports, plans, programs, and projects, among other actions.

The salary of the Environmental Analyst consists of a basic salary of R$ 8,547.64, Performance Gratification of Environmental Specialist Activity (GDAEM), and Qualification Gratification (CG). In addition, there are benefits of food assistance and childcare assistance.
They are responsible for regulation, control, inspection, licensing, and environmental auditing, management, protection, and control of environmental quality, environmental monitoring, and management of forestry and fishing resources.
