Mental Health in Focus at SESI-RS
In honor of White January, a month dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of mental health, SESI-RS launched the campaign ‘Health is Caring for the Whole’. Throughout the month, interested companies can access informational materials on the topic to distribute among their employees and society in general. It is also possible to hire lectures for employees with specialists on the subject. The idea is to promote synergy between physical and mental health for well-being and quality of life.

SENAI-TO is currently accepting registrations for technical courses in various areas of industry, aiming to qualify more than 5,000 professionals by 2025 in the state of Tocantins.

SESI-RJ Opens Registrations for the 2024 Culture Notice
SESI-RJ is accepting registrations for 70 artistic proposals that will compose the 2024 programming of FIRJAN SESI Theaters throughout the state of Rio de Janeiro and other institution facilities. Interested parties have until January 31 to apply. The notice will distribute R$ 2.5 million in fees. The selection results will be announced on March 1.
Antenor Oliveira, Culture and Arts Manager at FIRJAN SESI, explains that the evaluation criteria for the Notice include social, cultural, and artistic relevance, as well as the historical performance of the proposers, among other criteria.

SENAI-AP Opens Registrations for Industrial Apprenticeship Program
SENAI Amapá has opened the Selection Process for reserving spots in the Industrial Apprenticeship Program, directed at contributing industries. Interested companies located in different areas have until January 31 to participate. The spots are for different courses.

SENAI-MS Has Over 1,600 Spots for Technical Courses
SENAI-MS has 1,675 open spots for technical courses in ten municipalities of the state, and registrations are now open. The offer meets a wide variety of student profiles and is available in different modalities, also providing opportunities for those already in the workforce looking to improve their skills. Registrations can be made until March. The registration fee is R$ 79.90 and the courses can be paid in up to 23 installments.
According to the regional director of SENAI-MS, Rodolpho Caesar Mangialardo, professional advancement can be consolidated at the pace of industrial growth in the state. ‘Salaries for those with technical training range from R$ 4.3 thousand to R$ 12.7 thousand. These are, therefore, salaries above the market average, demonstrating the recognition of these jobs and their importance in strengthening the industry’.
Professional technical education at the secondary level is intended for students enrolled or graduated from high school, who must prove their education or connection with an educational institution. Registrations can be made through the Meu Futuro Agora website.
SESI-RS Students Attend Conferences at Harvard and Yale
High school students from the SESI School in Gravataí (RS) departed this week for the United States, where they are participating in a simulation of United Nations (UN) conferences at the American universities of Harvard and Yale. The students researched discussion topics, and among the subjects they chose, highlights include the preservation of indigenous culture and tradition, immigration crisis, and others.

SESI-MS School Launches Notice with 82 Free Scholarships for Low-Income Students in Basic Education
The SESI Educational Network in Mato Grosso do Sul is holding a selection process with full scholarships available in basic education for the 2024 school year. There are a total of 82 spots, distributed among five units of the network in the state.
The spots are exclusively for students whose families meet low-income criteria, with a monthly income of up to half the minimum wage per person.
Registrations for the selection process are free and must be done in person at the SESI School’s office until January 26. Results will be announced starting February 6.

SESISAÚDE of Amazonas Receives Excellence Certification
The National Quality Control Program (PNCQ) evaluated the laboratory services of SESISAÚDE, the Social Service of the Industry of Amazonas, as excellent in 2023. The certification was issued in accordance with the Annual Performance Evaluation for the period from October 2022 to September 2023.
Since its first participation in 2008, SESI has been receiving excellence in its evaluations, which, according to the pharmacist and head of the laboratory, Mara Bentes, is the result of the commitment of her entire team.
Services are performed at SESISAÚDE Unidade Centro, from Monday to Friday, from 6 am to 5 pm and on Saturdays, from 7 am to 12 pm.
Exports from Alagoas Grow by 60.3% in 2023. Come Internationalize Too!
In addition to the consistent performance and growth of the sugar and derivatives sector, the main product of the local export agenda, the state is also standing out in the House and Construction segment. The exports in the Food and Beverage sector also deserve attention, driven by fruit juices, coconut milk, and similar products, which grew by 60% and 40%, respectively, compared to 2022.
All these products were produced by local industries that realized the importance of exporting and participate in the actions of the International Business Center of Alagoas (CIN/AL).
