The State Department of Education (SEC) announced the opening of registrations to compete for vacancies in various free courses. Since last Friday (01/12), interested individuals have been able to register for free to compete for one of the 13,510 available vacancies. The free technical courses cover a wide range of areas, providing individuals with more options when choosing.
What Technical Courses Are Available?
Among the free technical courses offered to the population, we can mention: Administration, Agriculture, Clinical Analysis, Nursing, Information Technology, Nutrition, Environment, Safety, Construction, and Cultural Production.
The technical courses will be offered in 26 Identity Territories, including the capital of Bahia and other 96 municipalities, totaling 132 school units.

Who Can Register and Compete for One of the 13 Thousand Vacancies?
Everyone who meets the requirements established in the announcement, published in the State Official Gazette on Thursday (01/11), will be able to participate.
The priority candidates for the process are students who have completed High School and its modalities in public education institutions, whether municipal, state, or federal.
In addition, students who have completed High School in a philanthropic institution or in a private institution as full scholarship holders can also participate.
To register, interested individuals must fill out the electronic form available on the SEC website.

How Will the Student Selection Be Conducted?
The selection process for the vacancies will be conducted through an electronic lottery.
Immediately afterward, the selected individuals must complete their enrollment in the technical course of their choice.
The registration period for the 1st phase is from January 12 to January 23.
The Electronic Lottery and the announcement of the results will occur on January 24.
The enrollment of candidates who win in the Electronic Lottery 2024.1 must be done from January 26 to January 27.
