According to rumors from company sources, the technology giant is planning to replace the “Plus” model with a new version called iPhone 17 Air.

According to information from the website The Information, the iPhone 17 Air will have a thickness of approximately 6 mm. However, some sources suggest that the device could be even thinner, reaching 5.5 mm, which would make it the thinnest model ever manufactured by Apple.

Additionally, a Chinese expert revealed that the rear camera bump may be 4 mm, resulting in a total of 9.5 mm at the thickest point.

This information indicates that Apple may be betting on an extremely slim design without compromising the quality of the camera system.

Design and Specifications

Initial leaks indicate that the iPhone 17 Air will have a design similar to the Google Pixel line.

The single rear camera should be positioned on the left, accompanied by a microphone and an LED flash on the right. All of this will be within a horizontal bump that extends along the device.

Regarding the display, rumors suggest a size between 6.6 and 6.7 inches. This would make it larger than the iPhone 17 standard (6.3 inches), but smaller than the iPhone 17 Pro Max (6.9 inches).

There is some discrepancy in the information, as Ice Universe previously stated that the Air model would be the same size as the Pro Max, except for the thickness.

However, this claim contradicts the majority of leaks.
