Unique Opportunity for Artists and Cultural Professionals
The Energisa Institute, supported by the Energisa Group, is accepting applications for the free occupation of its cultural centers in 2024. With spaces located in Cataguases (MG), Nova Friburgo (RJ), and João Pessoa (PB), the call aims to promote regional cultural development by encouraging integration between entities and society. In 2023, the Energisa Institute held 429 cultural activities, reaching around 70,000 people.
Innovations in the 2024 Call for Proposals
This year, the Institute brings innovations to the regulations. The call will be open throughout the year, with project selection every quarter, aiming for greater diversity and turnover in the cultural centers. Free applications must be submitted through an online form. Delania Cavalcante, Social Investment Coordinator at the Energisa Group, expresses enthusiasm for the variety of proposals expected, reinforcing the Institute’s commitment to making cultural spaces accessible and diverse.
Cultural Impact and Benefits for Artists
The Energisa Institute has already demonstrated its cultural impact with previous projects, such as the Palco Tabajara in João Pessoa (PB), which provided a platform for local original music. Naná Garcez, CEO of the Paraibana Communication Company, highlights the excellent structure and acoustics of the Energisa Cultural Factory, as well as the compensation offered to artists.

In Nova Friburgo (RJ), cultural producer João Leonardo de Almeida recounts how the call was crucial for the realization of the show “It’s Not That Black and White.” The Energisa Cultural Factory provided all the necessary infrastructure, from conception to project execution.
Murilo Abrita, a musician awarded by the call, was impressed by the facilities of the Humberto Mauro Cultural Center in Cataguases (MG). The opportunity provided by the Energisa Institute allowed him to record a show on CD and DVD, highlighting the importance of this initiative for independent artists.
