Opportunity for FREE Technical and Secondary Education for Youth and Adults. Enroll Now in the Available Courses Offered by the Federal Institute

The Federal Institute of Brasília (IFB) is open for enrollment for 300 spots in technical courses alongside secondary education for youth and adults who have only completed elementary school. Proeja (Program of Technical Courses along with Secondary Education for Youth and Adults) offers a unique opportunity for those who wish to obtain a high school diploma and a professional qualification simultaneously, according to the Correio Braziliense website.

Unlike other selection processes, there is no exam for admission to the Proeja courses at the Federal Institute of Brasília, and registration is free. Interested candidates must enroll at the campus of their choice to compete for one of the available spots.

Federal Government Financial Support

A new feature this year is the financial support offered by the Federal Government to Proeja students. Each selected student will receive a training scholarship worth R$ 220.00 per month to help cover expenses during the course.

The course spots have a duration ranging from two and a half to three years, all taught in the evening and in-person. In addition to technical training and secondary education, IFB also offers opportunities in research, extension, and special programs for student assistance.
