The Federal Institute of Southern Minas Gerais (IFSULDEMINAS) has launched Public Notice No. 276/2024, offering 800 spots for subsequent free technical courses in the online (EaD) modality. Aiming at professional training, the courses are an excellent opportunity for those who have completed high school and seek quality technical qualification.
The training courses aim primarily to train qualified professionals to meet market demands in specific areas. Lasting from 1 to 2 years, classes will be conducted online (EaD), with 20% of the workload completed in person at the Federal Institute’s campuses. Activities include classes, forums, and in-person assessments.
Available Spots and Locations
There are 800 spots for free technical courses distributed among the campuses of Machado, Passos, and Poços de Caldas, as well as their respective support centers in cities such as Alfenas, Itajubá, and Três Corações. Each center has specific spots for general competition, affirmative actions, and persons with disabilities.

Selection Processes
Admission will be conducted through an electronic lottery, which will be recorded to ensure transparency. The notice provides for 50% of the spots for affirmative actions, including students from public schools and self-declared black, brown, or indigenous individuals. 5% of the spots are reserved for persons with disabilities.
Registration Requirements
Candidates for the training must have completed high school and possess valid documents, such as CPF and RG. Registration on the gov.br portal is mandatory for application. For the EaD courses, access to the internet and a compatible electronic device is required.
