The Federal Institute of Southern Minas Gerais (IFSULDEMINAS) launched Notice No. 276/2024, offering 800 vacancies for subsequent free technical courses in the online format (EAD). With a focus on professional training, the courses are an excellent opportunity for those who have completed high school and are looking for quality technical qualifications.
The main objective of training courses is to train qualified professionals to meet market demands in specific areas. With a duration of 1 to 2 years, classes will be held online (EAD), with 20% of the workload completed in person at the Federal Institute's centers. Activities include classes, forums and in-person assessments.
Available vacancies and locations
There are 800 vacancies for free technical courses distributed among the Machado, Passos and Poços de Caldas campuses, in addition to their respective in-person support centers in cities such as Alfenas, Itajubá, and Três Corações. Each center has specific vacancies for general competition, affirmative action and people with disabilities.

Selection processes
Admission will be carried out through an electronic draw, which will be recorded to ensure transparency. The notice provides for 50% of the vacancies for affirmative action, including students from public schools and self-declared black, brown or indigenous people. 5% of the vacancies are reserved for people with disabilities.
Application requirements
Candidates for the training must have completed high school and have valid documents, such as CPF and RG. Registration on the gov.br portal is mandatory for enrollment. For distance learning courses, internet access and a compatible electronic device are required.
