The Federal Institute (IF) Opened 210 Spots for Free Technical High School Courses and Selection Will Be by Lottery.
This Sunday, (07/14), the Federal Institute of Southern Minas Gerais (IF SUL DE MINAS) has 210 spots open for free technical courses. The opportunities are to study at the campuses of Machado and Muzambinho, with classes scheduled to start in September 2024. All courses are in-person and free, offering an excellent opportunity for those who wish to qualify professionally.
Technical Courses Offered by the Federal Institute
The free technical courses available at the Federal Institute cover various areas of knowledge, including the following options:
- Agriculture (Muzambinho Campus);
- Accounting (Muzambinho Campus);
- Occupational Safety (Muzambinho Campus);
- Administration (Machado and Muzambinho Campuses).
The selection of candidates will be conducted through a lottery, ensuring transparency and fairness in the process.

Take a technical course at the Federal Institute: there are over 950 open spots in free technical courses in Logistics, Mechanics, Baking, Building Construction, and Renewable Energy Systems at IFPI.

Distribution of Spots
It is important to highlight that half of the spots are reserved for candidates who have completed their Elementary or High School education in public schools.
The other half of the open spots in the free technical courses at the Federal Institute is designated for general competition.
Additionally, 5% of the general competition spots are reserved for candidates with disabilities confirmed by medical documentation.

Applications can be made until July 26, 2024, exclusively online, through the official website of the Federal Institute.
There will be no application fee for any of the free technical courses, facilitating access for all interested parties.
