The Federal Institute (IF) has opened 210 places for free secondary-level technical courses and the selection will be by draw.
This Sunday, (14/07), the Federal Institute of the South of Minas Gerais (IF SUL DE MINAS) has 210 vacancies open for free technical courses. The opportunities are to study on the Machado and Muzambinho campuses, with classes scheduled to start in September 2024. All courses are in-person and free, offering an excellent opportunity for those who wish to qualify professionally.
Technical courses offered by the Federal Institute
The free technical courses available at the Federal Institute cover various areas of knowledge, covering the following options:
- Agriculture (Campus Muzambinho);
- Accounting (Campus Muzambinho);
- Occupational Safety (Campus Muzambinho);
- Administration (Campi Machado and Muzambinho).
The selection of candidates will be done through a draw, ensuring transparency and equity in the process.

Distribution of vacancies
It is important to highlight that half of the vacancies are reserved for candidates who have completed primary or secondary education in public schools.
The other half of the open places in the Federal Institute's free technical courses are destined for broad competition.
In addition, 5% of highly competitive vacancies are reserved for candidates with disabilities proven by a medical report.
How do I sign up and compete for places on free technical courses?
Registrations can be made until July 26, 2024, exclusively online, through the official website of the Federal Institute.
There will be no registration fee charged for any of the free technical courses, facilitating access for all interested parties.

IFSULDEMINAS is the result of a Federal Government initiative in 2008, which aimed to expand and strengthen professional and technological education in Brazil.
