The Federal Institute of Goiás (IFG) opened, on August 22, 2025, the selection process that offers a job opening for a substitute teacher in Physical Education at the Aparecida de Goiânia Campus.
The applications can be made exclusively online until September 12, 2025, and the goal is to meet the immediate need for qualified teachers with a workload of 40 hours per week and compensation commensurate with qualification.

Online Applications, Deadline and Fee
The application period runs from August 22 to September 12, 2025, conducted exclusively online, through the IFG portal.
After registration, the candidate must generate and pay the fee of R$ 40.00 by September 13.
Registered candidates in CadÚnico may request a fee waiver. Submission of the documents required in the notice is also mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation for the teacher position varies according to the qualification:
Undergraduate: R$ 4,326.60
Improvement: R$ 4,651.09
Specialist: R$ 4,975.59
Master: R$ 5,949.07
Doctorate: up to R$ 8,058.29
In addition to the salary, the hired individual may receive benefits such as food assistance (~R$ 1,000.00), transportation assistance, and pre-school assistance, according to current legislation.
Selection Process Steps
The selection will take place in two stages:
Title Analysis (non-presential; eliminatory and classificatory nature);
Teaching Performance Exam with Questioning (in-person), in which the candidate teaches a class on a drawn topic, evaluating their pedagogical skills as a teacher.
Contractual Term and Institutional Context
The contract, although temporary, offers the possibility of extension, as per the needs of the federal institute.
