The Vacancies in Subsequent Technical Courses Offered by the Federal Institute Aim to Professionalize Students with a Complete High School Education.

The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Sul (IFRS), Rio Grande Campus, announced the opening of registrations for 68 remaining vacancies in subsequent technical courses.

With opportunities for those who have already completed high school, the courses are ideal for those seeking quality technical training in industrial and technological areas.

Available Vacancies in Technical Courses at the Federal Institute

The IFRS Rio Grande Campus offers vacancies for the following subsequent technical courses:

Technical Course in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning — 22 vacancies

Technical Course in Industrial Automation — 14 vacancies

Technical Course in Geoprocessing — 13 vacancies

Technical Course in Mechanical Manufacturing — 11 vacancies

Technical Course in Electrical Engineering — 8 vacancies

It is important to note that classes will be in-person. The vacancies are open to candidates who have a complete high school education and wish to specialize in one of the mentioned courses.

The selection will be made on a first-come, first-served basis, making it essential to quickly send the required documentation!

How to Apply?

Applications are open until February 13, 2025. The application process must be completed exclusively online, through the Federal Institute’s admission portal, by accessing the website:

To apply, candidates must log in to the gov.br portal, the Federal Government’s digital authentication system.

If candidates do not yet have an account, it is necessary to create one to complete the application. The application process includes filling out forms and submitting the required documentation, which can be photographed or scanned in PDF format.

There is no application fee for this selection process. Interested individuals must carefully follow the instructions in the notice and stay updated on any news on the admission portal.

The selection process timeline of the Federal Institute includes important dates, as presented below:

02/07 to 02/13/2025: Application period for unfilled vacancies. During this period, candidates must fill out the forms and submit the necessary documentation.

02/14/2025: Summoning the Heteroidentification Commission for self-declared black/brown candidates, in accordance with legal requirements.

02/14/2025: Summoning for the practical test of Musical Instrument, intended for those registered in the Technical Course in Musical Instrument at the Porto Alegre campus.

02/18/2025: Disclosure of the preliminary results of the Heteroidentification Commission.

02/19/2025: Period for appeals regarding the preliminary results of the Heteroidentification Commission.

02/21 to 02/27/2025: Publication of the final enrollment results for the selection process of unfilled vacancies.
