Imagine Qualifying for Free in Areas Such as Construction, Electrical Engineering, Musical Instrument, Automotive Maintenance, and Much More. That’s Right!

The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Ceará (IFCE) has just opened registrations for 13 in-person technical courses at the Fortaleza campus.

There are 430 available spots, half of which are reserved for students who completed their entire elementary education in public schools. But be aware, registrations are limited and the deadline is already running!

IFCE offers a wide variety of courses for different student profiles. For those who have already completed high school, the opportunities include:

  • Construction
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Tourism Guide
  • Musical Instrument
  • Automotive Maintenance
  • Industrial Mechanics
  • Occupational Safety

For those who are still in high school, the institute offers integrated courses such as:

  • Construction

  • Informatics
  • Industrial Mechanics
  • Chemistry
  • Telecommunications

Registration and Selection Process at the Federal Institute

Want to secure your spot? Registrations are open from August 7 to 22 and must be made exclusively through the Funetec website, the foundation responsible for the selection process. Candidates will undergo a general knowledge and essay test scheduled for September 8.

To participate, a registration fee of R$ 50 must be paid. However, candidates registered in the Unified Register (CadÚnico) of the Federal Government can request a waiver of this fee until August 13. Just provide the Social Identification Number (NIS) when requesting the waiver.

Selection Process Calendar

  • August 7 to 22: Registration period
  • August 7 to 13: Deadline to request the exemption from the registration fee
  • September 8: Selection test
  • October 16: Classes begin

How to Register for the Selection Process at the Federal Institute

Don’t miss this opportunity to qualify for free! To register, access the Funetec website between August 7 and 22, fill out the registration form, and pay the fee if you are not entitled to a waiver. Prepare for the general knowledge and essay test that will take place on September 8 and, who knows, start your classes at IFCE on October 16.
