The Federal Institute of Minas Gerais (IFMG) has opened registrations for the 2026 selection process and offers slots in free technical courses. Among them, the technical course in Logistics, offered by the campus in Ribeirão das Neves, stands out for being 100% online.

The initiative is aimed at those who have completed high school and wish to qualify in a growing area in the market.

Free Slots and Selection by Lottery

The announcement no. 784/2025 provides 120 slots for the course, all free of charge, with no registration fee or tuition. The selection model will be conducted through a public lottery, ensuring equal chances for all candidates.

Registrations can be made until September 15 through the electronic form available at this link: https://fundacao.cefetmg.br/processos/IFMGTS261/inscricao.

The lottery is scheduled for October 21, and the final result will be published starting October 29.

Structure of the Free Technical Course in Logistics at the Federal Institute

The program is divided into two modules and has a total workload of 800 hours. At the end of the first module, the student receives certification as a Logistics Assistant. In the second module, they earn the diploma of Technician in Logistics.

The format is predominantly online, with 80% of classes held in the Virtual Learning Environment (AVA).

The remaining 20% of the workload is reserved for synchronous or in-person moments, allowing greater interaction between teachers and students.

Who Can Enroll in the EAD Course?

The subsequent technical course in Logistics at IFMG is intended for candidates who have completed high school or are in the process of completing it by the enrollment deadline.

There are no age restrictions, allowing participation from both recent graduates and professionals seeking requalification.
