The Federal Institute of Amapá (Ifap) is offering free courses for women interested in strengthening their presence in entrepreneurship and the job market. The ‘Empodera Mulher’ program provides 540 openings in free professional courses, aiming to empower and equip women in situations of social vulnerability.

Where Will the Professional Courses Be Held?
An innovative initiative from the Institute, the Empodera Mulher program has the partnership of the state government, through the Secretariats of Social Assistance (SEAS) and Policies for Women (SEPM) in the involved municipalities.
The municipalities include Macapá, Pracuúba, Santana, Mazagão, Pedra Branca do Amapari, Laranjal do Jari, Porto Grande, Ferreira Gomes, and Oiapoque.

Participants selected for the free professional courses will receive a maintenance scholarship worth R$ 600.
This benefit aims to provide financial support during the training period, facilitating women’s active participation in the courses.
How Will the Vacancies Be Distributed?
Out of the 540 available openings, 30 are reserved exclusively for indigenous women residing in Oiapoque, in collaboration with the National Indian Foundation (Funai).
