According to experts, the specialization in Fishery Agroextractivism and Rural Development is a strategic area for sustainable development, especially in the Amazon region.
According to IFPA, the course aims to train professionals capable of promoting the sustainable use of natural resources, contributing to environmental preservation and the economic development of local communities.
The specialization course will last 18 months, with a total workload of 450 hours. There will be 16 mandatory and elective subjects, covering various knowledge areas related to agroextractivism and rural development.
Remote and In-Person Classes
According to the Federal Institute, the course will include remote and in-person classes, allowing for greater flexibility for students. This combination of modalities aims to facilitate access to knowledge, especially for those living in remote areas of the campus.
The selection is open to anyone with a completed degree in any field, as long as the course is recognized by MEC. According to the Federal Institute, the selection process consists of three eliminatory and classificatory stages:
- Analysis of Registration Documentation: the approval of registrations will occur on September 23, 2024.
- Evaluation of the Letter of Intent (CI): between September 28 and October 3, 2024.
- Interview: interviews will be held from October 10 to 18, 2024.
The final result will be announced on November 20, 2024, with enrollments on November 21 and 22, 2024. The inaugural class is scheduled for November 27, 2024.
How to Enroll?
To enroll, candidates must send an email to compese.vigia@ifpa.edu.br with the necessary documentation, as specified in the notice. Registration will be open from 8 AM on July 20, 2024, until 11:59 PM on September 16, 2024. It is essential that candidates carefully read the notice to ensure that all requirements are met.
