Opportunities open at 19 Ifes campuses
In a move that is surprising the academic community, Ifes recently announced the opening of 976 remaining vacancies for the first semester of 2025.
These vacancies are distributed across 19 campuses of the institution, and interested parties can register between January 7th and 26th, 2025.
The selection process will be completely different from what you are used to, being based on curricular compatibility, that is, the degree of similarity between the courses previously taken and the new desired course.
It will not be necessary to take tests, the candidate simply needs to have passed the subjects studied at the previous institution.
How does the selection process for a second degree work?
The vacancies offered are aimed at two specific profiles: candidates who wish to undertake a second degree and those who seek a external transfer.
The second degree is aimed at people who have already completed a higher education course and wish to follow another academic path.
External transfer applies to those who are already enrolled in an undergraduate course at another higher education institution, public or private, and wish to complete their course at Ifes.
Simplified and free selection
The selection of candidates will be done through a simple analysis: curricular compatibility. In other words, Ifes will check whether the subjects of the course that the candidate has already taken are similar to those of the course chosen at the Federal Institute.
The most interesting thing is that this analysis will be done based only on the subjects that the candidate has already completed successfully, facilitating the transition process to the new course.
This selection proposal without tests makes the opportunity even more accessible for those who already have previous training, making higher education more inclusive.
Where to apply and what are the deadlines?
